For the month of October we are having $5 Friday's which we hope will help expand our community spay neuter program and of course our vet bills for the animals in our care!

Every Friday for the month of October please consider skipping the Starbucks frappacino/latte and donate $5 to help enable us to do more for the animals we constantly are asked to help. It's because of all your support we are able to do what we do! 🐾💕🐶

Our Paypal address is perfectmatchanimalrescue@gmail.com and you can also link to donate via the Donate section on our website!

Perfect Match Animal Rescue are always seeking well qualified volunteers to join the foster program. A foster parent provides a temporary home for kittens, puppies, dogs, or cats.  Sometimes the dog is ready to go, and sometimes you may need to address a temporary medical or mild behavioral issue prior to the animal being placed up for adoption. The devotion, care, and socialization given during this time greatly increases the animal’s chance to be adopted by a loving home.

Fostering Requirements:

1. Must be within driving distance of Oak Tree Animal Clinic in Olive Branch, MS or Northgate Animal Clinic in Memphis, TN....

Hi everyone!  This year we implemented, on a bigger scale, a Community Spay Neuter Program for both dogs and cats.   Rescuing pets in need is great, and it's what we do EVERY day - but we also want to attack the source of the problem, which is pet overpopulation.   So far this year, we have sterilized 26 dogs/puppies and 11 cats/kittens.  There is no "exact" criteria for our program.  We take every situation on a case by case basis.  We were fortunate enough to receive a donation from one of our amazing volunteers earlier in the year that allowed us to kickstart things and get into high gear and with the ultimate goal...

We've been pretty busy here at PMAR, now that things have calmed down a little I wanted to update everyone on what we've been doing!  As always, rescuing dogs and cats of course!  But, a little bit more too... As we always say, rescue is somewhat of a band aid so we want to balance rescuing with a lasting impact on the community to.  So, we've been helping families here in the Midsouth who have reached out to us,  keep their pets home, and providing the help and resources they need to do exactly that.  We have spayed several dogs, and provided treatment for dogs who have had simple and not so simple medical conditions...

The final chapter of Layla's story was set in motion today - her forever home! Scott and Renee dropped her off this afternoon and everyone is very happy at how it all worked out so well. Great family, same town as her foster and they will even be able to visit from time to time. Most of you will remember the long journey Layla has traveled to get to where she is today. Huge thanks to Heather & Scott Thompson here in Memphis and to Scott and Renee, her northern foster family. Most of all, thank you Emily and Mike for opening your hearts and home to this very special girl

On the left is Ruby on July 3rd when Jo's daughter found her. Emaciated, covered in 100+ ticks, had recently given birth. She was wearing a thick leather collar (like the kind dog fighters use), scars, wounds and HW+. Fast forward two months to September 3rd on the right. She's still waiting on her immiticide injections for the heartworms but her other injuries have healed and she's thriving. She's excellent with people, including children, and loves their dog Max (no cats). She will be ready for her forever home when she has completed her heartworm treatment. Thank you Jo, Erin and family for all you have done. A tru...

Renee shared today that Bella (formerly Betsy) has become quite the camping dog. Her family said "Great hike up Mount Chocorua and Bella did great, only had to help her once!" Love a "perfect match"!

Rocky has worked off his post transport energy and decided it's time for a nap. He's relaxed, comfortable and getting ready for the next chapter - forever home ❤️. Many thanks to Kelly and David for taking him in, allowing him to have time to heal, and once again to Scott and Renee for taking over the reins until we find that "perfect match"!

Little Gabe is finally headed to his forever family in Connecticut ❤️. This TINY pup beat the odds when he beat parvo and what a character he is! Full of life, love and energy and we can't wait to hear how he is doing as he grows up! Have a happy life little guy, we all love you! Thanks to Oak Tree for saving his life, to Mariah for fostering and all involved for making this possible.
