We received a Christmas card from Sadie's family yesterday. Sadie was adopted from PMAR in May of this year and is cherished by her family. Sadie's mom wrote: "Just wanted to give you an update on our little cutie Sadie. She and Lou have become best buddies and she is just the sweetest thing ever! She is super snuggly and quite a lap dog. She has gone to the beginner obedience class and I plan on taking her to level 2 soon. Thank you for helping bring her into our lives." Mer
Many have been asking about the "Reindeer Puppies" and what their momma looks like. We thought we would share her photo with everyone. Isn't she gorgeous? We think she is a Pointer / Terrier-mix. We don't know who the daddy is. The puppies have just been weaned and have been eating high-quality canned puppy food with some solid puppy kibble mixed in. They are doing wonderfully and are growing like weeds. Momma Minnie will be available for adoption later this Winter, after she
Lady, now named "Shelby", is enjoying life in New England with her family. She was adopted from PMAR in July of this year and is thriving in her home! Her family reports: "She's perfect. We love her so much." Happy Holidays to you & yours, Shelby! #PMARLady #PMARPUpdate #PUpdate
Check out Handsome Lou! Lou was one of the Beagle pups who was adopted in July of this year. For Christmas, he has asked Santa for more chew toys, and also for Santa to find Forever Homes for the rest of the PMAR doggies still in foster care. Merry Christmas, Lou! #PMARLou #PMARPUpdate #PUpdate

Unfortunately these can be hazardous/life threatening to your pet should they consume them.
Homemade ornaments, especially those made of play dough-type material or other salt-bas
This fantastic girl is still available for adoption! She is being fostered in the Memphis, TN area and can be adopted locally or transported to most northeast and New England states. She is friendly with all humans, even the little ones! She is not, however, a fan of the felines. (No cats for this girl!) Stella is house-trained and has a medium energy level. She loves to go for regular walks and play in the yard too. But she does not need hours upon hours of exercise in order
We are thrilled to announce that Carly has been adopted! Her foster home is now her Forever Home, just in time for Christmas. There are times when a dog is just so special and needs just the right mix of human and dog friends, in order to truly blossom. This was the case with Carly. Her foster family, resident dogs included, have made Carly feel secure and happy. Her playful personality has emerged and her family can't imagine her living anywhere else. A Forever Home, the bes
Check out this awesome photo collage, showing Meadow (now Myka) as she's grown since being adopted from PMAR! STUNNING. We'd love to hear updates on her siblings as well, the "Nature Pups" as we called them. Here's the note we received from Myka's Mom: "This is Myka, previously known as Meadow that we adopted back in February. She has grown so much! She continues to enjoy wrestling with her sister, dog parks, and long hikes (which are off leash now!). Thank you!! Any of her n
