We did it! Thanks to your donation, shares and prayers - Miss Layla *will* be having her surgery at Shelby Center on May 31! Once again our wonderful friends and followers have come through to help us make a miracle happen and we thought the best way to show our appreciation was for Layla to thank you herself!
Meet Talley (2 year old pointer/hound mix) and Layla (2 year old chocolate lab). These two beauties will join the PMAR family this week when Heather and Scott bring them into their home to foster. "Living the Dream" doesn't seem to adequately describe Layla's beautiful new life, does it? This is a photo of her, out in her yard, enjoying the crisp, autumn New England air. Her sister is living an equally fantastic life in Tennesse with a loving family as well. Regardless of how long we've been in rescue, or how many dogs have found their "Perfect Match" - it still takes our breath away when we see a once-discarded dog enjoying the life they were always meant to live. THANK YOU to all those who Volunteer, Foster, Donate and Adopt. Photos and stories like this would not be possible without each of you!
Sweet Layla found her Forever Family this weekend! She is off to live a life full of adventure and fun, including a huge backyard with endless trails, and a future of fun-packed days at the barn. She has a "big" brother, Obi, who is happy to have company in the house, and on the sofa. From being rescued off a lonely dirt road in TN to living a dream life in New England, this is kind of Happily-Ever-After we wish for all our rescued dogs!
