Today we welcomed this little guy to PMAR! Formerly ‪#‎A284404‬ he is an 8 month old "return" to MAS. One of our foster families spotted him and worked with the lady advocating to save him from the dreaded list and we made it happen. Many thanks to Tiffany and Lauren!

This adorable little family is now listed for adoption on Petfinder! All are available for adoption and transport to the northeastern states. Hope, Sweet Pea, Heart, Rosie and Squirt are Jack Russell / Doxie mix pups who currently weigh in at an average of 9lbs! We don’t expect them to be more than 25lbs fully grown. Except Heart, who is a chunky gal and might achieve 30lbs one day – ha! The pups are spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and dewormed. They were rescued from rural MS as tiny babies and have been raised by their foster mom, Ann. If you are interested in adopting one of these sweet babies – you can find out...

From Mollie's foster mom, Angela:

Jason and I have had so much joy brought to our lives from being able to love on so many puppies over the last 6 months. Goodbyes are terrible, but knowing their lives are forever changed (and so are ours) makes it all worth it. So in honor of puppy day, here's miss Mollie who will be leaving us tomorrow to meet her new mommy and sister in Connecticut.

It has been a busy day on the intake front. We have received so many pleas for help in the last 24 hours with terribly sad situations and we wish we could help with them all. This situation is no different. However, the wonderful lady who rescued this litter of all female pups is willing to foster them so of course, we were able to say yes! These poor babies were found in and around a silage pit in North MS. Tragically, the reason that Ms. Ann found them, is because she saw two of the puppies on the side of the road trying to eat a deceased sibling. They were absolutely starved. These pups basically led her to the oth...

Sweet Lindy's "Gotcha Day" has finally come! This wonderful dog was with her foster mom for many months before a family in Maine fell in love with her picture and bio and contacted us! After lots of communication, pictures and planning, we all agreed this would be a perfect match! So, Lindy headed north with Alpha Dog Transport to her new start and forever family! Best of luck, and a HUGE thank you to her foster mom Jo, and all who were involved in her rescue from MAS.
