Jilly is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped and has completed heartworm treatment.
Jilly is a 2 year old fiest/terrier mix with a great personality. She's a little girl, around 18lbs. She plays as if she is a puppy! This girl is smart. She retrieves toys and loves to play with other dogs. She has been around cats and loves to chase them but she doesn't harm them. When she is done with playing, she loves to snuggle. This girl deserves a great home. She has been through so much and has done nothing but give love unselfishly. Here's her story before she came to us....
Jilly came to us after being hit by a car. She had a broken jaw and 4 tiny puppies. The shelter raised funds to perform the surgery, which was successful. On top of the injury, we found out she was heartworm positive. However, nothing could set her back - Jillian was a trooper. Through all her pain, she still nursed and nurtured her babies. Even though she was hurting and a new mom, she trusted us to help her and her babies. Her puppies are now adopted and in wonderful homes. She has completed her heartworm treatment and is doing great!
She will enjoy a family with a medium activity level. She would love regular walks and play. Some toys, a few bones and lots of cuddles would be wonderful too!
